Business | Japan mortgage rate tatas

Photo: Japan Times Hindi nakaligtas ang stock market sa epekto nang pagtaas ng 10 years treasury yield sa US. Ang pagtaas ng Bond rate ay sa positibong epekto dala ng $1.9 trillion Covid relief bill at economy strains toward recovery pagkatapos marami na ang nabakuhan ng Covid19 vaccine. Subalit, malaki ang epekto nito sa Stock market. sa ngayon (february 27, as of 18:40 sa Tokyo), nasa 30,932.37 (-469.64)(-1.50%) ang Dow Jones Industrial Average at 3,811.15 (-18.19)(-0.48%) ang S&P 500.  Inaasahan na mas gaganda ang ekonomiya ng US ngayong taon. Hindi rin nakaligtas ang Japan.  February 26, nag labas ang 2 big banks ng Japan (Mizuho Bank at Mitsui Sumitomo Bank) ng statement na itatas nila ang mortgage rate simula ngayong marso 2021. Health | 6 PREFECTURES TO BE LIFTED FROM SOE

                            Photo: Yumiuri Shimbun Japan government announces today (Feb. 26) that they will lift the State of Emergency to the 6 prefectures among 10 until this month.  The 6 prefectures are Gifu, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures.  4 prefectures in Tokyo metropolitan which are Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa are not included for this sanction.  Therefore, Tokyo Metropolitan will still be under State of Emergency until march 7. Business | AIRASIA JAPAN FILED BANKRUPTCY

Social | JAL & ANA RECRUITMENT LIMIT

JAL group announced that the company will hire only 200 fresh graduates for the year 2022. This year, JAL group (entire) alters its plan to recruit 1,700 to 200 fresh graduates.  It says that JAL will continue to control(limit) its recruitment process. This is due to a huge deficit last year 2020. This deficit is because of other countries restriction to travel and Japan government’s “go to Travel” postponement.  JAL group adds that they start to eliminate some employees’ bonuses. Social | 8 countries to limit its fishing of Sanma (Pacific) saury

         Photo: Japan Info On February 25, 2021, 8 countries including Japan, China, Taiwan, Russia, Vanuatu, US, Canada tackled the preservation of ocean environment among participants.  These after the research found out that Sanma catched decreases every year. In this meeting, 8 countries agreed to limit its fishing from 556,250 tons of Sanma to 333,350 tons.  The agreement is 2 years period starting this year.   Source: Yumiuri Shimbun

Health Ministry: 4420万円 para sa mga nasawi sa Covid-19 vaccine

                       Photo: Asahi Shimbun Ito ang sagot ni Health Minister Tamura nang tinanung ng opposition kung magkamo ang matatanggap sa masasawi.  Nagkakahalaga ito ng 4420 万円  o 20.3M pesos para sa mga masasawi dahil sa Covid-19 Vaccine. Matatandaan na nag simuna last week ang pagbabakuha sa Health Workers. Sinimulang ito sa Tokyo Hospitals.  Ang pera ay matatanggap ng pamilyang naiwan ng masasawi at mayroon ding dagdag na 20 万 9 千円  para sa gastos sa pag libing nito. Para naman sa magkakaroon ng permanent condition, nakakatanggap ng 505 万 6800 円  (2.3M pesos) every year. Suicide Rate ng mga student Tumaas

                                Photo: Asahi Shimbun Base sa datos ng MEXT, noong isang taon (2020)may naitalang 479 katao ang nag suicide. Tumaas ito previous year ng halos 41.3 percent. Ito na ang pinakamataas ng suicide rate ng Japan.  Sabi ng MEXT, isa sa mga dahilan ng pagdami ay “ social unstability due to COVID-19”. ( 新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大による社会不安が影響した可能性がある」 ). Japan’s Public dept ¥1.2 quadrillion

Based on the report of Ministry of Justice, the public dept of Japan including government bonds is ¥1.21 quadrillion- the highest ever of Japan history. Kung ikukumpara noong isang taon, tumaas ng ¥100 billion ang utang ng Japan. Masasabitang mayroong ¥9.6 million burden ang bawat tao sa Japan.  Source: TBS

Mori to women: “You take a lot of time”.

Yoshiro Mori, 86, a former Prime Minister of Japan and currently Head of the Olympic Paralympic organizing committee said in the interview that women are “taking a lot of time” during the committee meeting.  During the committee meeting, there were 24 members and among them, 5 women were present. This “inappropriate” remarks of Mori triggers opposition leaders and government officials.  Kazuo Shii, leader of Japanese Communist Party, tweeted that the statement of Mori is “Stupidly Shameful”. Fukuyama of The constitutional democratic party also expressed this disappointment to Mr.Mori. He said that he wont ignore this social issue of Japan and this is a reason why gender equality has no development at all. Tokyo Governor said that it is really up to the person. Magsisimula na ang bagong service plan ng famous flagship hotel of Japan ang Imperial Hotel ang kanilang tinatawag na “Service Apartment”.   Mayroong ilalalang 99 rooms upang gamitin sa bagong proyekto. Sa proyekto na ito apartment style na mayroong pagkain at laundry sa loon ng hotel. Naisipan ng Imperial Hotel ang apartment service dahil sa pangangambang mas malugi pa dala ng epekto ng COVID-19. Advantage raw ng Hotel ang kanilang luxurious services at facilities upang gamitin sa bagong apartment service. Magsisimula ang reservation ngayong araw( Feb.1, 2021). 43% Suga rating and Kono as next PM

Survey conducted by Nihon Keizai Shimbun, walang pinagbago ang ratings ni PM Suga kompara noong isang taong.   Noong isang taon, nakakuha si Suga ng pinakamababang approval rating na 42%. Sa ngayon mataas parin anh kanyang disapproval rating na 50%.  Sa bagong survey ng Nikkei shimbun kung sino ang Next suitable Prime Minister, nasa ika-pang 5 nalang si Suga na may 6%.  Next Suitable Prime Minister Si Vaccine Czar Kono Taro naman ang nangunguna sa listahan upang maging next suitable prime minister.
