App Annie, an American apps intelligence, ranked the most downloaded mobile applications in Japan for 2020. Games are excluded in the ranking.

COCOA or COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application is Japan’s Health, Labour, and welfare department effort to update and to notify those who have come into close contact with positive individuals. MHLW said there are at least 23,970,000 COCOA downloads.





Zoom ranks 2nd after Government requests teleworks during State of Emergency. And Uber Eats ranks 9th also after government declared State of Emergency and restaurants and bars limit their operation until 8 in the evening since according to PM Suga Covid-19 in Bars are rampant and can easily transfer to other individuals.

Base sa kasulukuyang panuntunan ng Japan, pinapapili ang mga Hapon na may dalawang citizenship sa ibang bansa kung ano ang nationality ang gagamitin habang nasa Japan. Katulad nalang ni Tennis Champion Osaka Naomi na may dalawang nationality. Isa iyang Japanese at Haiti.
